Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial arts artist, and competing within the UFC flyweight division. She's older than her fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's career in combat sports began with her debut as a Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title and later defeated Suzane Mller with a majority vote. Antonina was able to follow it up, and received a silver award in 2007 a bronze medal in 2008, and then a gold in 2011 and the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonia began her professional journey in 2003 and won an award at the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012 and the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016, and also the WMC as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships in 2016. Antonina took on Isa Tidblad Kskikangas during her final match at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by a unanimity. Antonina Shevchenko broke her debut professional MMA record in 2002 at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. She took the win via second-round TKO as well as winning her following 2-fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003 to amass a record of three-three. Shevchenko took a short break from MMA and focused on her kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback at the end of 2017 in a fight with Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko won Anissa Haddaoui by a unanimous decision. She later defeated Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4, in a unanimous decision. She resigned from the organization and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina's prodigious strike abilities allowed her to TKO Nievera via knees in the body. The result was that Antonina was able to sign the opportunity to sign a UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters' finale in which she was fought against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko took the win via unanimous decision but lost her next fight against Roxanne Modafferi by split decision. Antonina recovered from her loss to defeat Lucie Pudilova at UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke submission and earned the fight of the night reward during the fight. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner during her subsequent three bouts, winning against Ariane Lipski while losing to Katlyn Chookagian, and Andrea Lee. Recently, Antonina suffered defeat to Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos against. Walker via second-round TKO.
